Caroline and Greg’s wedding day at the Glen View Club outside of Chicago was perfect in every way! They started their days off getting ready with their respective wedding parties, with Caroline opting to do her own makeup (slay). From our very first call together, Caroline told me she LOVES photos and is the photo person of her friend group, always bringing her Canon G7X on trips and nights out. It made the day so much fun to know she would be down for any photo ideas we had, like getting tons of bridal and couple shots with her veil—ones to rival her Pinterest board inspiration if I do say so myself!!!—glam shots of her touching up her makeup after her reception dress change, golden hour photos as their guests were being seated for the reception, and so much more.

If their giant preview gallery was any indication, it was hard to choose my favorite moments and photos from the day but here are a few:

  • Caroline getting into her dress and veil with her sisters and mom before her first looks with her (13!!) bridesmaids, dad, and groom
  • Portrait time with Greg and Caroline both before the ceremony and during golden hour. Caroline texted me last night saying “Greg goes “that group of girls kinda made me like taking pics”☠️☠️☠️” and then a second text that said “I’m like hell ya Greg welcome to girlhood” and if that doesn’t sum it up I don’t know what does!
  • Caroline’s dress change once the dance floor opened; the actual dress change itself was another iconic girlhood moment with some of her friends upstairs and then the photos we took of her and Greg with the little crescent moon to follow?! You have to scroll to the end of this (long) blog post to see them!
