This Chicago couples photoshoot solidified to me that all you need is 10 minutes, a cute couple in love, and a little bit of beautiful fall lighting to create some magic! Sometimes busy season feels completely “go, go, go” with hardly any time to try new things with my camera or to style a shoot just for fun, so I knew at the end of wedding season I wanted to do a few shoots just for the fun of it! I’d had this idea in my head to do a casual shoot with a couple eating pizza slices for a while, so I reached out to Molly to see if her and Shane would be interested in doing a quick little mini shoot with me—and some pizza slices—down by the lake!

They were in, so we met near Belmont Harbor and they sat and ate the slices they brought while I snapped away. I just checked my camera data for what time these pictures were taken and we literally took all of these in FIVE MINUTES. That’s all the time we needed to get this set of almost 50 adorable photos!!

Scroll through to see! Also, sorry to the city we live in, but we opted for some thinner slices than the traditional Chicago deep dish because, well, imagine these pictures with them trying to hold up some Lou Malnati’s pies instead 🙂
