Lauren + Michael’s wedding day at Bridgeport Art Center was one for the books. I could write paragraphs on paragraphs about how joyful their wedding day was (at the reception, the videographer said to me “I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a smiley bride”), but you know what they say about a picture speaking a thousand words, so I think even just one of these photos showing Lauren’s mouth-wide-open/head-tipped-back-in-laughter smile + Mike’s dimple-popping one says more than I ever could about the pure joy of their day.

A quick example of how thoughtful and kind to the core they are: I checked my email on the Wednesday morning after their wedding to find a long thank you email they sent out to their whole vendor team ON THEIR HONEYMOON (complete with a photo of the two of them in Sri Lanka). I’m including a quick snippet of the line from their email that made me beam: “There are rare moments when reality so far exceeds whatever expectations you had that the sheer joy of the experience is overwhelming, and Saturday was definitely one of those moments for us.”

So grateful to be a part of their wedding day team and to work with such amazing individuals!
