I couldn’t imagine a more perfect Chicago evening than the one spent along the lakefront for Cece + Neil’s North Avenue Beach engagement session. These two have been together for almost 10 years, and that decade of time together was shining through during their session because they had the SWEETEST interactions that made photographing them a dream (stolen kisses, unprompted face grabs—that I of course had to make a few GIFs of—etc. etc.).

I could not recommend a better photographer in Chicago. Marissa took my engagement photos over the summer and they are photos we will cherish forever. She captured the skyline beautifully. This was totally out of my fiances comfort zone, but Marissa’s bubbly, warm personality put him at ease instantly and we felt so comfortable just being ourselves throughout the shoot. Marissa sent us a sneak preview of our shoot within days of our shoot and we received our whole gallery soon after! We have already printed many of these photos to hang around our home. I am looking forward to whatever life events comes next so I can hire Marissa again, she’s that awesome<3
